Oroonoko or, the Royal Slave
- I appreciate that this story is written giving awareness to what actually was going on at that time. Innocent black men being taken from their homes by greedy white men.
- I don't appreciate that she is a white women talking from this perspective because she is making a book about what is really going on at her time but doing nothing about it.
- Also she is white so how does she know so much about a african prince to even do a book on the Prince's experience in slavery.
- She might have know about the business side of this trade because her people where the one doing the horrific act but how could she possible even fictional write what a actual slave was going through. I just feel its a little inconsiderate but in her time probably was just seen as a great book to read for fun even though the acts explained in the book were real life things.

- This is a very interesting topic because even though her story was inconsiderate it did put black people in a positive light despite the time period she wrote it in. The Prince was a leader and she wrote that he lead a revolt with his own people against slave owners showing the royalty he had in his blood to have people follow him even if it would end in death
