Technology Post

Technology
Week #1

My impressions about this information for the class is that I will just keep up by checking all links and sites so I know what's going on in class. I also will actually contact Ms. H when I have a problem and since I will be doing assignments in advance I will have time to wait for a response. The only thing I am concerned about is getting an assignment and I can't finish it because the technology part is difficult. Only because you can email but typing out struggles online is even more difficult. Especially when someone can't  see what exactly you are struggling with and just point like this is what you are doing wrong. Anyway I am excited to have people read my post and get feedback.

Time Strategies the Vic Way

Time Strategies
Week #1

In this class a way I will use my time to strategize my A, is to first look at the due dates for work and make sure I have them done at least two days ahead. In order to not fall behind I have to do things before they are due. Especially with an online class because you don't want to forget you have to pick up you computer everyday and check in on your class. You become you own reminder, so to make this easier on me I will also have time to put clear profound thoughts into my work and not turn in rushed work. Managing your time in regular classes are simple because you hear the due work in announcement everyday but online takes a special mindset. A growth mindset that accepts the challenge, and is ahead of the work so you don't drown.

Growth Mindset Thoughts

Growth Mindset
Week #1

Having a growth mindset in life is key, and everyone should make an effort to obtaining this key. Having a growth mindset is like being extremely positive letting all of the challenges just make you work harder. You instead do whine and cry when things don't go your way but accept the problem and see it as a growing experience. For myself I believe in the specter of having a growth mindset or fixed, I am a growth in process. Sometimes I let a fixed mindset get to me then I come to my senses and just change my mind set to instead grow from this. My mindset doesn't really differ I approach everything the same and that is mostly with a growth mindset. As a learner I can see that I have a great mindset I don't back down from challenges. Although, I dislike when I get cheated after all of my effort when things don't go my way and I know I did the best. On the other hand, it just drives me to go even harder at the things that challenge me. Personally my goal for this semester is to get all A's and B's in my classes. I am excited for all my classes and can't wait till I transfer after this semester. What class I am most afraid of is none because I know I'm going to reach my goal in each one. I am the definition of growth mindset and it will take me to important places.

Introduction Vic

Introduction Blog #2
Week #1

The best class I've ever had ironically didn't take place in school. I was up high in the mountains at a beautiful stop in the tree heavy Mount Hermon in Santa Cruz. This place is your split between camp site and perfect secluded area to have a bible youth conference. In class I obtained a  valuable lesson that I am a masterpiece and to be thankful for all my blessing. Personally my biggest accomplishment is beating all the  stereotypes and living my best life. Since this is the beginning of the semester after a much needed break, and the most interesting thing I did was hanging out with my girlfriend. The whole time we just spent much needed one on one time before she left to college. Her spring semester would start at CSU Fullerton in Orange County. Basically, she's leaving me for LA, but in reality it was the end of her two years at LMC. More specifically with our time we did things like watching Netflix, going to the movies, watch youtube together, and seen the fireworks in San Fransisco this new years. My favorite book is The Coldest Winter Ever and Strangers Drowning they are very different yet both help teach life lessons. My favorite music is all music to be completely honest and it is very instrumental in my life. Music is always there no matter my mood to help calm and keep me focus. A short-term goal for me is to transfer to CSU Fullerton next semester. A long term goal is to be financially stable and to get married. A practical goal is for me to graduate with my degree in two years. A big dream goal is to be rich or wealthy and not love money. My dad has a dog I think pets are a handful I'll leave that to my girlfriend and dad. My best friend would describe me as loving. Finally my favorite show is Black Mirror, my favorite cartoon is Rick and Morty, and favorite movie is going to be Black Panther ,when I go see it, and Love & Basketball.

Hey my name is Victor Haynes Jr. and I am a student at LMC. I am taking this California Literature class hoping to acquire some new skills on my educational journey. I also hope I am doing this right and can get a hand of using this blog and of my assignments for class so I can obtain a good grade. English is one of my favorite subjects so hopefully I can be successful in this class since I am sure it comes with a lot of writing.
